Sympathy's good, so is empathy, and volunteering tea/coffee/meeting (even though I may never take you up on it).
Thanks. I've been wondering if I've been poking a local depressed friend too much with offers of meeting them for dinner (every few weeks to every other month-ish). Of course they are not you, reactions vary, but it helps to know that someone only very rarely taking me up on it doesn't necessarily mean I'm pestering them.
psychic attack. It points out that my thoughts are being affected by an external (to my sense of self) agent, and that I can fight them off.
Makes sense to me. Conceptualizations like that are a coping tool. If it helps sometimes, great.
